Raleigh, NC – More than 150 real estate agents gathered Thursday at the Historic Wakefield Barn for the 2026 Further Together Raleigh conference, where Brian Pate of Brian Pate Seminars delivered the keynote address focused on technology, marketing and lead generation.
Pate’s presentation centered on what he described as a modern “tech stack” for real estate professionals, with an emphasis on search engine optimization, or SEO, and artificial intelligence optimization, often referred to as AIO.
He outlined how agents can structure their business around connected systems that improve online visibility and convert digital engagement into clients.
At the core, Pate identified agent websites as the “hub” of a real estate business, serving as the central platform that supports all marketing efforts. He stressed that websites should not operated in isolation, but instead connect with customer relationship management systems, or CRMs, which he said are critical for tracking leads, automating follow-up and managing client relationships.
Pate also highlighted the growing role of Google Business Profiles, calling them a key component for local search visibility. He said agents who actively manage reviews, updates and content on their profiles are more likely to appear in search results and attract inbound inquiries.
Beyond owned platforms, Pate encouraged agents to fully develop their presence on major real estate portals, including Realtor.com, Homes.com, and Zillow, noting that consistent, accurate profiles can support both credibility and search performance.
He also pointed to video as an essential tool, urging agents to build and maintain YouTube channels that align with their brand and provide consistent, searchable content.
Social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X, were presented as important channels for audience engagement. Pate said agents should focus on creating content that builds trust and drives users back to their core platforms, where leads can be captured and nurtured.
Throughout the presentation, Pate emphasized integration, explaining how each tool works together to strengthen both SEO and AI-driven discovery across platforms.
The Further Together Raleigh event brought together agents from across the region and nationally for education and networking focused on industry trends and business growth.
